First licensed in 2008, Roarke Thomas Aston, Esquire, has nearly two decades experience zealously advocating for and counseling clients in their legal matters. Attorney Aston spent over a dozen years in the Berks County Public Defender's Office gaining vast experience in trying and litigating criminal, DUI, and traffic matters. Attorney Aston has gone to trial in front of juries in cases ranging from misdemeanors such as simple assault to major felonies such as possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, rape, armed robbery, and murder.​ In 2022, he opened his own practice and used his litigation experience to assist clients not only in criminal, DUI, and traffic cases, but also family law matters.

Attorney Aston quickly gained a reputation as a lawyer who cared about and communicated with clients. His approach to legal representation can be summed up as "counsel, communicate, advocate." In meetings and confidential communication with clients, Attorney Aston thoroughly explains options and potential outcomes with clients to allow them to make an informed decision regarding the nature of their representation. Once a plan is formed, Attorney Aston ensures that he communicates with his clients to keep them up-to-date as their case progresses and zealously advocates his client's position in court and in negotiating with opposing counsel.

Attorney Aston is a 2008 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Widener University School of Law where he was the Pennsylvania Law Editor of The Widener Law Journal and a peer tutor. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Scranton in 2001. Attorney Aston is the former Co-Chair of the Berks County Bar Association's Criminal Law Section and former Editor of the Berks County Law Journal.
